For the month of December, the entire city of Vienna is decorated with with elaborate Holiday lights and outdoor festival markets – Christkindlemarkt – that specialize in handmade crafts, famous Viennese chocolates and cakes, and stunning handmade Christmas ornaments. This city is also quite cosmopolitan, with Hermes, Chanel and other high end boutiques all participating in the holiday cheer with elaborate window displays – all set to the music of Mozart, Bach, and Strauss.
